Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install zulusafe-cli
on Ubuntu.
What is zulusafe-cli
zulusafe-cli is:
zulucrypt is a suite of applications for creating and managing volumes encrypted with luks, plain, truecrypt and veracrypt.
zulusafe-cli is a tool responsible for the safe storage files in a wallet. Added files to the wallet will be stored in a secured file located at “~/.config/lxqt/wallets/zuluSafe/YYY.lwt” where YYY is the wallet name.
There are three methods to install zulusafe-cli
on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install zulusafe-cli Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install zulusafe-cli
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install zulusafe-cli

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install zulusafe-cli
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install zulusafe-cli

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
