on Ubuntu.
What is z-push-ipc-memcached
z-push-ipc-memcached is:
Z-Push is an implementation of the ActiveSync protocol which is used ‘over-the-air’ for multi platform ActiveSync devices, including Windows Mobile, iPhone, Sony Ericsson and Nokia mobile devices. With Z-Push any groupware can be connected and synced with these devices.
This package is a provider for Z-Push that provides the usage of IPC via memcached mainly used in multi hosted setups. IPC is a acronym for ‘Inter Process Communication’.
There are three methods to install z-push-ipc-memcached
on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install z-push-ipc-memcached Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get

sudo apt-get update
