What is z-push-backend-imap
z-push-backend-imap is:
Z-Push is an implementation of the ActiveSync protocol which is used ‘over-the-air’ for multi platform ActiveSync devices, including Windows Mobile, iPhone, Sony Ericsson and Nokia mobile devices. With Z-Push any groupware can be connected and synced with these devices.
The backend contained in this package allows you to sync emails to mobile devices from an IMAP server.
There are three methods to install z-push-backend-imap
on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install z-push-backend-imap Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install z-push-backend-imap
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install z-push-backend-imap

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install z-push-backend-imap
