In this tutorial we learn how to install yrmcds
on Ubuntu.
What is yrmcds
yrmcds is:
yrmcds is a memory object caching system with master/slave replication and server-side locking. Since its protocol is perfectly compatible with that of memcached, yrmcds can be used as a drop-in replacement for memcached.
A companion client library libyrmcds and a PHP extension are also available.
There are three methods to install yrmcds
on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install yrmcds Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install yrmcds
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install yrmcds

After updating apt database, We can install yrmcds
