What is yapet
yapet is:
Yapet is a curses based password encryption tool using the Blowfish encryption algorithm to store password records encrypted on disk. Its primary aim is to provide a safe way to store passwords in a file on disk while having a small footprint.
There are three methods to install yapet
on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install yapet Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install yapet
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install yapet

After updating apt database, We can install yapet
