What is xhtml-relaxng

This package contains an implementation in RELAX NG of the modularization of XHTML specified by the Modularization of XHTML Recommendation
The RELAX NG schema has not been mechanically derived from the DTDs. Rather, it has been hand-crafted so as to produce a good quality RELAX NG schema. However, it may well contain bugs.
There are three methods to install xhtml-relaxng
on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install xhtml-relaxng Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install xhtml-relaxng
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install xhtml-relaxng
Install xhtml-relaxng Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install xhtml-relaxng
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install xhtml-relaxng
Install xhtml-relaxng Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install xhtml-relaxng
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install xhtml-relaxng
How To Uninstall xhtml-relaxng on Ubuntu
To uninstall only the xhtml-relaxng
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove xhtml-relaxng
Uninstall xhtml-relaxng And Its Dependencies
To uninstall xhtml-relaxng
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove xhtml-relaxng
Remove xhtml-relaxng Configurations and Data
To remove xhtml-relaxng
configuration and data from Ubuntu we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge xhtml-relaxng
Remove xhtml-relaxng configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove xhtml-relaxng
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge xhtml-relaxng
