Xfe is based on the popular but discontinued X Win Commander. It is desktop independent and is written using the C++ Fox Toolkit. Its appearance is similar to the Windows file-manager Total Commander or Windows Explorer. It is very fast and simple.
This package provides support many locales for non-English interfaces.
There are three methods to install xfe-i18n
on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install xfe-i18n Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install xfe-i18n
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install xfe-i18n
