xcircuit is a generic drawing program tailored for making circuit diagrams.
The graphical interface attempts to maintain consistency between X11 window rendering and the pure PostScript output.

There are three methods to install xcircuit on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install xcircuit Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
