Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install x2gothinclient-chroot on Ubuntu.

What is `x2gothinclient-chroot`

x2gothinclient-chroot is:

X2Go is a server based computing environment with - session resuming - low bandwidth support - session broker support - client-side mass storage mounting support - client-side printing support - audio support - authentication by smartcard and USB stick

x2gothinclient-chroot:

This metapackage installs all X2Go TCE dependencies. This package is used in the X2Go Thin Client’s chroot.

There are three methods to install x2gothinclient-chroot on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
