What is workrave-xfce4
workrave-xfce4 is:
Workrave is a program that assists in the recovery and prevention of Repetitive Strain Injury (RSI). The program frequently alerts you to take micro-pauses, rest breaks and restricts you to your daily limit.
It includes a system tray applet that works with GNOME and KDE and has network capabilities to monitor your activity even if switching back and forth between different computers is part of your job.
Workrave offers many more configuration options than other similar tools.
This package includes a Workrave plugin for the Xfce4 panel.
There are three methods to install workrave-xfce4 on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install workrave-xfce4 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install workrave-xfce4 using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install workrave-xfce4
How To Uninstall workrave-xfce4 on Ubuntu

To remove workrave-xfce4 configuration and data from Ubuntu we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge workrave-xfce4
