This package contains the wireless regulatory database used by the Central Regulatory Database Agent (CRDA) to configure wireless devices to operate within the radio spectrum allowed in the local jurisdiction.
This regulatory information is provided with no warranty either expressed or implied. Only Linux drivers which use cfg80211 framework can make use of the regulatory database and CRDA.
There are three methods to install wireless-regdb
on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install wireless-regdb Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install wireless-regdb
using apt-get
