What is weborf-daemon
weborf-daemon is:
Weborf is a configurationless webserver mainly meant to allow users to easily share their directories over the web. Has limited support to webdav, allowing its use by GNOME and KDE filemanagers. It also supports cgi.
This package provides a SystemV daemon to start weborf using init.
There are three methods to install weborf-daemon
on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install weborf-daemon Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install weborf-daemon
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install weborf-daemon

using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install weborf-daemon
