It attaches to a running Wayland session, creates virtual input devices, and exposes a single display via the RFB protocol. The Wayland session may be a headless one, so it is also possible to run wayvnc without a physical display attached.
There are three methods to install wayvnc
on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install wayvnc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install wayvnc
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install wayvnc

sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install wayvnc
using apt
