Watcher provides a complete optimization loop-including everything from a metrics receiver, complex event processor and profiler, optimization processor and an action plan applier. This provides a robust framework to realize a wide range of cloud optimization goals, including the reduction of data center operating costs, increased system performance via intelligent virtual machine migration, increased energy efficiency-and more!
This package contains the Watcher decision engine.
There are three methods to install watcher-decision-engine
on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install watcher-decision-engine Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install watcher-decision-engine
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install watcher-decision-engine
Install watcher-decision-engine Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
