Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install vtk7 using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install vtk7

After updating apt database, We can install vtk7 using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove vtk7

To remove vtk7 configuration and data from Ubuntu we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge vtk7
