In this tutorial we learn how to install vnstati on Ubuntu.
What is vnstati
vnstati is:
vnStati provides image output support for statistics collected using vnStat. The image file format is limited to png. All basic outputs of vnStat are supported excluding live traffic features. The image can be outputted either to a file or to standard output.
There are three methods to install vnstati on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install vnstati Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install vnstati using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install vnstati

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install vnstati using apt by running the following command:
