What is visidata
visidata is:
VisiData is a multipurpose terminal utility for exploring, cleaning, restructuring and analysing tabular data. Current supported sources are TSV, CSV, fixed-width text, JSON, SQLite, HTTP, HTML, .xls, and .xlsx (Microsoft Excel).
There are three methods to install visidata
on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install visidata Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install visidata
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install visidata
