What is veyon-configurator

veyon-configurator is:

Veyon is a software for computer monitoring and classroom management supporting Windows and Linux. It enables teachers to view and control computer labs and interact with students. Veyon is available in many different languages and provides numerous features supporting teachers and administrators at their daily work:

Veyon is the continuation of iTALC.

This package contains a graphical configuration manager for Veyon.

There are three methods to install veyon-configurator on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install veyon-configurator Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install veyon-configurator using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install veyon-configurator

Install veyon-configurator Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install veyon-configurator using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install veyon-configurator

Install veyon-configurator Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install veyon-configurator using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install veyon-configurator

How To Uninstall veyon-configurator on Ubuntu

To uninstall only the veyon-configurator package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove veyon-configurator

Uninstall veyon-configurator And Its Dependencies
