Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install transtermhp on Ubuntu.
What is transtermhp
transtermhp is:
TransTermHP finds rho-independent transcription terminators in bacterial genomes. Each terminator found by the program is assigned a confidence value that estimates its probability of being a true terminator. TransTermHP is the successor of TransTerm which was using very different search and scoring algorithms.
There are three methods to install transtermhp on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install transtermhp Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install transtermhp using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install transtermhp

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install transtermhp using apt by running the following command:
