What is time-decode
time-decode is:
time-decode provides the functionality to decode various timestamps and UUIDs to aid digital forensics and incident response processes. The supported formats range from common formats like Unix (milli)seconds, Microsoft’s FILETIME to more exotic formats like Metasploit payload UUIDs.
There are three methods to install time-decode on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install time-decode Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install time-decode using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install time-decode

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install time-decode using apt by running the following command:
