In this tutorial we learn how to install threeb on Ubuntu.

What is threeb

threeb is:

Bayesian analysis of blinking and bleaching, or 3B microscopy, is a method which analyses data in which many overlapping fluorophores undergo bleaching and blinking events, giving the structure at enhanced resolution. By using a Hidden Markov Model (HMM), it allows useful information to be obtained from data that would be impossible to analyse with standard localisation analysis techniques.

This package contains the command-line tool.

There are three methods to install threeb on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install threeb Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install threeb using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install threeb

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install threeb using apt by running the following command:
