What is termtris
termtris is:
Termtris runs on UNIX systems and requires an ANSI or VT220-compatible terminal for input and output. It has been tested with xterm, rxvt, the Linux console, and kermit running on MS-DOS over a serial link, but it should work on any terminal capable of interpreting ANSI escape sequences for cursor addressing, character set selection, and color attributes.
There are three methods to install termtris on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install termtris Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install termtris using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install termtris
Install termtris Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install termtris using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install termtris
Install termtris Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install termtris using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install termtris
How To Uninstall termtris on Ubuntu
To uninstall only the termtris package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove termtris

sudo apt-get -y autoremove termtris
Remove termtris Configurations and Data
To remove termtris configuration and data from Ubuntu we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge termtris
