What is tango-accesscontrol
tango-accesscontrol is:
TANGO is an object oriented distributed control system. It allows communication between TANGO device processes running on the same computer or distributed over the network. These processes can provide services to the control system all over the network, such as hardware control or data processing.
This package provides a TANGO accesscontrol server. It can be used to manage the users and IP addresses that are permitted to access TANGO devices.
There are three methods to install tango-accesscontrol on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install tango-accesscontrol Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install tango-accesscontrol using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install tango-accesscontrol using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install tango-accesscontrol
Install tango-accesscontrol Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install tango-accesscontrol using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install tango-accesscontrol

To uninstall only the tango-accesscontrol package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove tango-accesscontrol

To uninstall tango-accesscontrol and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove tango-accesscontrol
