In this tutorial we learn how to install t1-xfree86-nonfree on Ubuntu.

What is t1-xfree86-nonfree

t1-xfree86-nonfree is:

Collection of Postscript Type 1 fonts originally part of the XFree86 distribution, but which are licensed under terms incompatible with the Debian Free Software Guidelines, and thus cannot be distributed as part of Debian.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
