In this tutorial we learn how to install sylseg-sk on Ubuntu.
What is sylseg-sk
sylseg-sk is:
sylseg-sk implements one of the statistical approaches for the syllabic segmentation. Each input word is segmented into the syllables. The several possible segmentations are generated and sorted by the likelihood. Included are trained data for the Slovak language.
There are three methods to install sylseg-sk on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install sylseg-sk Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install sylseg-sk using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install sylseg-sk
