What is stressant
stressant is:
stressant is designed to run on new machines to make sure they will work reliably by testing various parts of the system (CPU, RAM, disk, network) by putting them under heavy load and try to detect failures.
As much as possible, stressant tries to reuse existing tools to perform the various tasks and aims to be run automatically.
There are three methods to install stressant on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install stressant Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install stressant using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install stressant
