What is ss-dev

This package includes a tool that parses a command table to generate a simple command-line interface parser, the include files needed to compile and use it, and the static libs.
It was originally inspired by the Multics SubSystem library.
This package contains the development environment for the ss library.
There are three methods to install ss-dev on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ss-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install ss-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install ss-dev
