SReview is a video review and transcoding system. It allows users to review videos, and will then (after the review has finished) transcode them into archive-quality video files.
This package contains the encoder scripts that do all the hard work. It should be installed on the machines which will do the actual transcoding.
There are three methods to install sreview-encoder on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install sreview-encoder Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
