In this tutorial we learn how to install sope-bin on Ubuntu.
What is sope-bin
sope-bin is:
An extensive set of Objective-C frameworks which form a complete Web application server environment. Besides the Apple WebObjects compatible appserver that has been extended with Zope concepts, it contains a large set of reusable classes: XML processing (SAX, DOM), MIME/IMAP4 processing, LDAP connectivity, RDBMS connectivity, and iCalendar parsing.
This package contains supporting binaries for libsope.
There are three methods to install sope-bin on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install sope-bin Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install sope-bin using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install sope-bin

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install sope-bin using apt by running the following command:
