In this tutorial we learn how to install sigrok-cli on Ubuntu.
What is sigrok-cli
sigrok-cli is:
sigrok-cli is a command-line data acquisition and protocol decoding software.
It supports sample acquisition from logic analyzer, oscilloscope, multimeter, and other hardware, as well as running protocol decoders over the sample data (either from hardware or loaded from files).
There are three methods to install sigrok-cli on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install sigrok-cli Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
