What is sga
sga is:
The major goal of SGA is to be very memory efficient, which is achieved by using a compressed representation of DNA sequence reads.
SGA is a de novo assembler for DNA sequence reads. It is based on Gene Myers' string graph formulation of assembly and uses the FM-index/Burrows-Wheeler transform to efficiently find overlaps between sequence reads.
There are three methods to install sga on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install sga Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install sga using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install sga

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install sga using apt by running the following command:

Install sga Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
