In this tutorial we learn how to install sentineldl on Ubuntu.
What is sentineldl
sentineldl is:
sentineldl is a wrapper around Sentinelsat for automatically downloading Sentinel 2 data from Copernicus Open Access Hub (https://scihub.copernicus.eu/). The focus lies on automatically download certain regions in an unattended way. sentineldl also includes scripts for converting the downloaded tiles into GeoTIFFs.
There are three methods to install sentineldl on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install sentineldl Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install sentineldl using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install sentineldl

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install sentineldl using apt by running the following command:
