Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install sdop on Ubuntu.
What is sdop
sdop is:
SDoP (Simple DocBook Processor) reads a Simplified DocBook XML file, processes it into typeset pages, and outputs the result as PostScript (which can easily be converted to a PDF). It is “simple” because it supports only a subset of DocBook, and also because it does not make use of a DTD or stylesheets or any other heavyweight apparatus. It is a single program. SDoP is used to format the Exim reference manual.
There are three methods to install sdop on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install sdop Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install sdop using apt-get by running the following command:

How To Uninstall sdop on Ubuntu
To uninstall only the sdop package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove sdop
