In this tutorial we learn how to install ri-li on Ubuntu.
What is ri-li
ri-li is:
Ri-li is a game in which you drive a wooden toy steam locomotive across many levels and collect all the coaches to win.
It features:
- a colorful animated wooden steam locomotive;
- 50 game levels;
- 3 beautiful tunes and many sound effects;
- 14 languages (Arabic, Breton, Chinese, English, Esperanto, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, and Swedish).
There are three methods to install ri-li on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install ri-li Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install ri-li using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install ri-li
Install ri-li Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install ri-li using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install ri-li
Install ri-li Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install ri-li using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install ri-li
How To Uninstall ri-li on Ubuntu
To uninstall only the ri-li package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ri-li
Uninstall ri-li And Its Dependencies
To uninstall ri-li and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ri-li
Remove ri-li Configurations and Data
To remove ri-li configuration and data from Ubuntu we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ri-li
Remove ri-li configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove ri-li configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge ri-li
