Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install repowerd on Ubuntu.
What is repowerd
repowerd is:
This daemon monitors and controls system power states for the Lomiri Operating Environment. It provides a D-Bus interface for system services to request a power state, essentially allowing services to block suspend.
This package contains repowerd daemon itself.
There are three methods to install repowerd on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install repowerd Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install repowerd using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install repowerd

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install repowerd using apt by running the following command:
