This GNU R package provides significance analysis of microarrays. A microarray is a multiplex lab-on-a-chip. It is a 2D array on a solid substrate (usually a glass slide or silicon thin-film cell) that assays large amounts of biological material using high-throughput screening miniaturized, multiplexed and parallel processing and detection methods.

This package helps analysing this kind of microarrays.

There are three methods to install r-cran-samr on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install r-cran-samr Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install r-cran-samr using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install r-cran-samr

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install r-cran-samr using apt by running the following command:

Install r-cran-samr Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install r-cran-samr using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install r-cran-samr

How To Uninstall r-cran-samr on Ubuntu

To uninstall only the r-cran-samr package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove r-cran-samr

Uninstall r-cran-samr And Its Dependencies

To uninstall r-cran-samr and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove r-cran-samr

Remove r-cran-samr Configurations and Data

To remove r-cran-samr configuration and data from Ubuntu we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge r-cran-samr

Remove r-cran-samr configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove r-cran-samr configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge r-cran-samr
