What is r-cran-rtweet
r-cran-rtweet is:
An implementation of calls designed to collect and organize Twitter data via Twitter’s REST and stream Application Program Interfaces (API), which can be found at the following URL: https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs. This package has been peer- reviewed by rOpenSci (v. 0.6.9).
There are three methods to install r-cran-rtweet on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install r-cran-rtweet Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install r-cran-rtweet using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install r-cran-rtweet
Install r-cran-rtweet Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install r-cran-rtweet using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install r-cran-rtweet
Install r-cran-rtweet Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install r-cran-rtweet using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install r-cran-rtweet
How To Uninstall r-cran-rtweet on Ubuntu
To uninstall only the r-cran-rtweet package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove r-cran-rtweet
Uninstall r-cran-rtweet And Its Dependencies
To uninstall r-cran-rtweet and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove r-cran-rtweet

sudo apt-get -y purge r-cran-rtweet
