What is r-cran-openxlsx

r-cran-openxlsx is:

The openxlsx package simplifies the creation of Excel .xlsx files by providing a high level interface to writing, styling and editing worksheets. Through the use of ‘Rcpp’, read/write times are comparable to the ‘xlsx’ and ‘XLConnect’ packages with the added benefit of removing the dependency on Java.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install r-cran-openxlsx using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install r-cran-openxlsx using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install r-cran-openxlsx

Install r-cran-openxlsx Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install r-cran-openxlsx using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install r-cran-openxlsx

How To Uninstall r-cran-openxlsx on Ubuntu

To uninstall only the r-cran-openxlsx package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove r-cran-openxlsx

Uninstall r-cran-openxlsx And Its Dependencies

To uninstall r-cran-openxlsx and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove r-cran-openxlsx

Remove r-cran-openxlsx Configurations and Data

To remove r-cran-openxlsx configuration and data from Ubuntu we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge r-cran-openxlsx

Remove r-cran-openxlsx configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove r-cran-openxlsx configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge r-cran-openxlsx
