Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install r-cran-egg on Ubuntu.

What is r-cran-egg

r-cran-egg is:

Alignment, Labelled Panels, Symmetric Scales, and Fixed Panel Size Miscellaneous functions to help customise ‘ggplot2’ objects. High-level functions are provided to post-process ‘ggplot2’ layouts and allow alignment between plot panels, as well as setting panel sizes to fixed values. Other functions include a custom ‘geom’, and helper functions to enforce symmetric scales or add tags to facetted plots.

There are three methods to install r-cran-egg on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install r-cran-egg Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install r-cran-egg using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install r-cran-egg using apt by running the following command:

Install r-cran-egg Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install r-cran-egg using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install r-cran-egg

How To Uninstall r-cran-egg on Ubuntu

To uninstall only the r-cran-egg package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove r-cran-egg

Uninstall r-cran-egg And Its Dependencies

To uninstall r-cran-egg and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove r-cran-egg

Remove r-cran-egg Configurations and Data

To remove r-cran-egg configuration and data from Ubuntu we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge r-cran-egg

Remove r-cran-egg configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove r-cran-egg configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
