Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install r-bioc-deseq on Ubuntu.

What is `r-bioc-deseq`

r-bioc-deseq is:

BioConductor package to estimate variance-mean dependence in count data from high-throughput sequencing assays and test for differential expression based on a model using the negative binomial distribution.

There are three methods to install r-bioc-deseq on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
