What is qt6-base-dev-tools
qt6-base-dev-tools is:
Qt is a cross-platform C++ application framework. Qt’s primary feature is its rich set of widgets that provide standard GUI functionality.
This package contains the development programs used for building Qt 6 applications, such as moc, qdbuscpp2xml, qdbusxml2cpp, rcc, syncqt and uic.
We do not recommend depending on this package directly. Please depend on qt6-base-dev instead.
There are three methods to install qt6-base-dev-tools
on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install qt6-base-dev-tools Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install qt6-base-dev-tools
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install qt6-base-dev-tools

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install qt6-base-dev-tools
using apt

sudo apt -y install qt6-base-dev-tools
Install qt6-base-dev-tools Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install qt6-base-dev-tools
using aptitude
