In this tutorial we learn how to install pytrainer on Ubuntu.
What is pytrainer
pytrainer is:
Pytrainer is a desktop application for logging and graphing sporting activities such as running or cycling sessions. Data can be imported from GPS devices, files or input manually. Currently pytrainer supports GPX, TCX and FIT files.
There are three methods to install pytrainer on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install pytrainer Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install pytrainer using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install pytrainer

sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install pytrainer using apt by running the following command:
