What is python3-xlsxwriter

python3-xlsxwriter is:

XlsxWriter is a Python module for writing files in the Excel 2007+ XLSX file format.

XlsxWriter can be used to write text, numbers, formulas and hyperlinks to multiple worksheets and it supports features such as formatting and many more, including:

There are three methods to install python3-xlsxwriter on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

How To Uninstall python3-xlsxwriter on Ubuntu

To uninstall only the python3-xlsxwriter package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove python3-xlsxwriter
