What is python3-wsgi-intercept
python3-wsgi-intercept is:
Testing a WSGI application normally involves starting a server at a local host and port, then pointing your test code to that address. Instead, this library lets you intercept calls to any specific host/port combination and redirect them into a WSGI application importable by your test program. Thus, you can avoid spawning multiple processes or threads to test your Web app.
wsgi_intercept works by replacing httplib.HTTPConnection with a subclass, wsgi_intercept.WSGI_HTTPConnection. This class then redirects specific server/port combinations into a WSGI application by emulating a socket. If no intercept is registered for the host and port requested, those requests are passed on to the standard handler.
This package provides a python3 module.
There are three methods to install python3-wsgi-intercept on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python3-wsgi-intercept Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python3-wsgi-intercept using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install python3-wsgi-intercept using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install python3-wsgi-intercept
How To Uninstall python3-wsgi-intercept on Ubuntu
To uninstall only the python3-wsgi-intercept package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python3-wsgi-intercept
Uninstall python3-wsgi-intercept And Its Dependencies
To uninstall python3-wsgi-intercept and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python3-wsgi-intercept
Remove python3-wsgi-intercept Configurations and Data
To remove python3-wsgi-intercept configuration and data from Ubuntu we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge python3-wsgi-intercept
Remove python3-wsgi-intercept configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove python3-wsgi-intercept configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge python3-wsgi-intercept
