In this tutorial we learn how to install python3-stevedore on Ubuntu.
What is python3-stevedore
python3-stevedore is:
Python makes loading code dynamically easy, allowing you to configure and extend your application by discovering and loading extensions (plugins) at runtime. Many applications implement their own library for doing this, using import or importlib. stevedore avoids creating yet another extension mechanism by building on top of setuptools entry points. The code for managing entry points tends to be repetitive, though, so stevedore provides manager classes for implementing common patterns for using dynamically loaded extensions.
This package provides the Python 3.x module.
There are three methods to install python3-stevedore on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python3-stevedore Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python3-stevedore using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install python3-stevedore
Install python3-stevedore Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install python3-stevedore using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install python3-stevedore
Install python3-stevedore Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install python3-stevedore using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install python3-stevedore
How To Uninstall python3-stevedore on Ubuntu
To uninstall only the python3-stevedore package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python3-stevedore
Uninstall python3-stevedore And Its Dependencies
To uninstall python3-stevedore and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python3-stevedore
Remove python3-stevedore Configurations and Data
To remove python3-stevedore configuration and data from Ubuntu we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge python3-stevedore

We can use the following command to remove python3-stevedore configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
