What is `python3-searx`

python3-searx is:

Searx is an internet metasearch engine which aggregates results from more than 70 search services. There are three methods to install python3-searx on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install python3-searx Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

How To Uninstall python3-searx on Ubuntu

To uninstall only the python3-searx package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove python3-searx

To uninstall python3-searx and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove python3-searx

Remove python3-searx Configurations and Data

To remove python3-searx configuration and data from Ubuntu we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge python3-searx
