The pyqrcode module is a QR code generator that is simple to use and written in pure Python. The module can automate most of the building process for creating QR codes. Most codes can be created using only two lines of code.

The pyqrcode module attempts to follow the QR code standard as closely as possible. The terminology, encodings and algorithms used in pyqrcode come directly from the standard.
There are three methods to install python3-pyqrcode on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python3-pyqrcode Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python3-pyqrcode using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install python3-pyqrcode using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
