What is python3-guessit
python3-guessit is:
GuessIt is a Python library that tries to extract as much information as possible from a video file. It has a very powerful filename matcher that allows one to guess a lot of metadata from a video using only its filename. This matcher works with both movies and TV show episodes.
This package contains the Python 3 module.
It also contains the “guessit” binary to interact with this library.
There are three methods to install python3-guessit on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python3-guessit Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python3-guessit using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install python3-guessit

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install python3-guessit using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
