What is python3-certifi
python3-certifi is:
Certifi is a carefully curated collection of Root Certificates for validating the trustworthiness of SSL certificates while verifying the identity of TLS hosts. It has been extracted from the Requests project.
The version of certifi in this Debian package is patched to return the location of Debian-provided CA certificates, instead of those packaged by upstream.
This is the python3 package.
There are three methods to install python3-certifi
on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python3-certifi Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python3-certifi
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install python3-certifi

After updating apt database, We can install python3-certifi
