What is puf
puf is:
puf is a download tool for UNIX-like systems. You may use it to download single files or to mirror entire servers. It is similar to GNU wget (and has a partly compatible command line), but has the ability to do many downloads in parallel. This is very interesting, if you have a high-bandwidth internet connection.
There are three methods to install puf on Ubuntu. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install puf Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install puf using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install puf
